CRAFT reduces the risks of artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM).
CRAFT encourages the creation of legal supply chains.
Why apply CRAFT?
CRAFT makes it easy for buyers to apply due diligence (transparency process – for more information: what is due diligence?) in the sector focusing on development and continuous improvement.
CRAFT makes it easier for miners to eliminate the worst practices related to artisanal and small-scale mining. It makes it easier for them to understand their buyers’ expectations and international standards.
CRAFT makes it easier for governments and civil society organizations to comply with international requirements, and a better understanding of mineral supply chains.
